About Me

Rachel Holcomb

REALTOR®, ABR®, SRS

I was born and raised in Burnet, Texas and have enjoyed living in the Highland Lakes area for most of my life.  I spent some time serving my community as a Law Enforcement Officer, working in the Burnet County Jail as a Deputy Jailor, and then moving on to a Patrol position with Austin Park Police. In 2004 I obtained my real estate license, and during this time I also worked for a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer in Round Rock as a marketing representative and lending assistant.  I am currently working towards earning my real estate Broker's license to better assist my clients. I'm a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS® and Highland Lakes Association of REALTORS®. I served on the Membership Committee and the Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) for the Highland Lakes Association. I also hold the Real Estate Business Institute's SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designation, as well as the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council's ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation. These designations assist me in staying knowledgeable in the real estate industry and give me the opportunity to pass that knowledge on to my clients.

Outside of Real Estate, my interests include my two beautiful boys ages 18 and 15, and my loving husband of 23 years.  I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, sports, animals, music and movies and I'm an active member in First Lutheran Church of Burnet, where I have served multiple terms on the Church Council (including VP and Pres), the Fellowship Committee, have Chaired the Mutual Ministry Committee and have taught Sunday school. I have also had the privilege of serving two terms on the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Living and working in my home town is a great joy and honor.
